What tile and surface trends defined Coverings Las Vegas 2026?

Among the highlights of the show, this year once again brought the global preview of new collections for the American market and beyond, because it is precisely at Coverings Las Vegas 2026 that design trends take shape before anywhere else in the world.

This event is the premier showcase for international innovation, and it was within this setting that we unveiled the latest Marca Corona additions to our Made in Italy designer ceramic tile line-up.

Taking centre stage at our stand were the brand-new Arkislate and Miniature Aroma collections, which from their very première at Coverings 2026 generated exceptional interest among visitors, both for the exclusive positioning they offer relative to other Italian ceramic tile brands, and for the unprecedented vision they express in terms of materials, finishes and textures that interpret each space according to the different lifestyles of those who inhabit it.

Made in Italy ceramic surfaces for walls and floors: Marca Corona's tile collections in the spotlight at Coverings 2026

In this recap of the Coverings 2026 highlights, we begin with the experience at the Marca Corona stand and the wall and floor ceramic surfaces that generated the most interest and set the trends across the four days of the show:

The thread running through our Made in Italy designer ceramic tile offer is “Sedimenta”, a design vision that evolves the research and development journey that has always been at the heart of Marca Corona’s story.

Central to this vision is a dialogue between memory and the future, with the concept of layering shaping every new Marca Corona proposal.

Let’s take a closer look at the collections that embody this trend and captivated visitors at Coverings Las Vegas 2026 as exclusive previews: Arkislate and Miniature Aroma.

2026 stone-effect tile trends from Coverings: Arkislate

The concept of the Arkislate stone-effect collection originates from the layering of two distinct inspirations:

  • the tactile materiality of slate with natural split-face effect
  • marine limestone with a contemporary pinholed effect

This represents a new logic that structures the surface in a dynamic, multi-layered way, creating an architectural reinterpretation in which realism, visual depth, tactile materiality and versatility come together to enhance the sense of comfort and the perceived quality of a living space.

Versatile for both interior design and outdoor applications, Arkislate is developed across a palette of 5 neutral shades: Nuvola, Osso, Iuta, Luna and Cosmo.

All variants are characterised by tone-on-tone modulations that help maintain visual continuity and coherence across both horizontal and vertical applications.

Here too, the proposal goes beyond the individual tile, considering how each surface interacts with its surroundings.

It is an architectural approach that also embraces Mix & Match possibilities, where each product is conceived to be paired with past collections or other furnishing elements, following a principle of modular composition.

From the interplay of materials to the finishes - available in Natural (Matt), Grip and Textured - and across a range of sizes, Arkislate completes its offer with special decors. Most notable among these is Vibra: a three-dimensional motif with parallel ridges on a 60×120 cm slab, enabling experimentation with installation patterns and freeing the design process from fixed, preset directions.

This way, people with different styles can find in this collection a solution that adapts perfectly to their specific needs, becoming a seamless part of modern everyday living.

Miniature Aroma: finishes and colour capture the trends at Coverings Las Vegas 2026

Another new Coverings 2026 ceramic tile collection that drew considerable appreciation from visitors at Coverings Las Vegas 2026 is Miniature Aroma.

A new addition to the Miniature line and the 1741 line - Marca Corona's project that retrieves the historical tradition of the small size, reinterpreting classic references and motifs through a contemporary lens - Miniature Aroma reinvents the artisanal inspiration of the London brick through a tactile stratification in which the surface captures light, emanating brilliance and luminosity.

This quality is amplified further by a palette modulated across different chromatic intensities.

Indeed, in the Miniature Aroma collection, each shade is not flat but composed of 3 chromatic levels (light, medium and dark) within the same colour, creating a “natural shading” effect once installed horizontally, vertically or in a herringbone pattern on walls and volumes.

In the conventional 6x24 cm brick size, Miniature Aroma is available in 6 different colours

  • Vanilla
  • Malto
  • Cannella
  • Timo
  • Brezza
  • Pepe

Each one is articulated across 3 complementary nuances, from lightest to darkest.
This balance between tones allows these ceramic surfaces to adapt to a wide variety of spaces and aesthetic sensibilities: from Japandi and Scandi, to Mediterranean and beyond.

Layering therefore operates at the level of colour too, ensuring versatility and naturalness, and transforming the product into a flexible element that accompanies people through their everyday lives, adapting to change and to each person’s own interpretation of home.

At Coverings 2026, experience, history and craft elevate the design of Made in Italy ceramic tiles

The new Arkislate and Miniature Aroma collections are the natural continuation of an evolution that fully reflects the journey of Marca Corona, the oldest company in the Sassuolo ceramic district and a living testament to an expertise that layers and renews itself with the passage of time.

That is why at Coverings Las Vegas 2026, alongside our new releases, we brought the history of our brand, a history made up of many collections already in our catalogue that have, over time, become icons of Made in Italy ceramic surfaces.

Among these, Terrasale and Scultorea Delicata now represent two cornerstones of the Marca Corona range. Launched in September 2025, they immediately earned strong acclaim from both the public and the industry, a recognition confirmed by accolades including the Archiproducts Design Awards.

At Coverings 2026, thanks to Terrasale, Scultorea Delicata and our other historic collections, we were able to bridge past and future, responding further to the 2026 tile design trends emerging from the show, where the blending of colours, textures, materials, sizes and references is a pure expression of originality and compositional freedom.

Within this approach, we also find the Mix & Match philosophy that underpins all our creations and through which we continue to innovate, never losing sight of the tradition and heritage this project carries with it.

Stay with us to follow the next chapters of our story, in which experience, history and craft continue to elevate the design of Made in Italy tiles.
