The luminosity of zellige tiles in two small sizes

Marca Corona enriches the 1741 project with Miniature Tela: a collection of ceramic surfaces inspired by Moroccan zellige tiles and their artisanal aesthetic. 

The 12x12 and 6x24 sizes reinterpret traditional craftsmanship through a contemporary design language, where colour, light, and texture create wall coverings with a striking identity.

Chromatic glazes and iridescent reflections

The soft, natural-looking surface features delicate glazes of colour and an ultra-fine stippled effect. Each element displays subtle variations while remaining in harmonious dialogue with the other modules in the collection.

The textured glossy finish, soft to the touch, complements the three-dimensional nature of the surface with a gentle undulating motion. The glassy effect achieved through the application of mineral grits refracts the light to produce shimmering reflections, enhancing both chromatic depth and pigment richness.

A palette ranging from neutral shades to vibrant colours

The colour palette balances versatile neutral tones with rich, vibrant shades: varying hues, laying orientations, and contrasting grout lines make it possible to build compositions with an ever-changing rhythm. 

The slightly three-dimensional edges become an active part of the design, capturing the irregular character of handcrafted tile work.

Two sizes, independent laying patterns

The 12x12 square and 6x24 brick tiles can easily coexist within the same room on different walls, or across adjacent walls and bespoke furniture volumes.

However, due to differing calibre dimensions, they require independent laying patterns: the two sizes are not designed to be utilised within the same modular composition.
