Raw earth settles on the surface

Marca Corona expands the 1741 project with Miniature Alba, a matt ceramic collection in the 12x12 size inspired by handcrafted raw earth. The interplay of clay and water generates delicate watermarking, whilst a fine veil of sand settles along the edges, highlighting the distinct identity of each piece.

Handcrafted material and subtle shade variations

The delicate variation in tone evokes the natural drying process: each piece displays light, controlled nuances that, when laid together, create harmonious and dynamic surfaces. 

The neutral colour palette, inspired by the dusty shades of earth, imbues the collection with a warm, minimalist, and contemporary character.

Plain tile and 3D decor in the 12x12 size

The collection features a plain tile and a 3D decor, both in the 12x12 size. The decor is designed around a recessed square motif defined by gently irregular edges and corners. 

The repetition of the modules creates a continuous grid that lends rhythm and depth to walls. The plain tile is suitable for both floors and walls, whereas the decor is specifically crafted for vertical surfaces.

A finish in dialogue with light

The matt finish, natural and soft to the touch, is infused with a semi-gloss micro-grain that intercepts the light and emphasises the texture of the surface. Grout lines also become part of the design, transforming into graphic lines that define the layout.

Suitable for both residential and commercial spaces, Miniature Alba can be used to clad walls, floors, and furniture volumes. The small size encourages bespoke installation patterns and seamless pairings with other effects and sizes across the Marca Corona range.
