Miniature Tela interprets the Sedimenta concept through the layering of material, pigment and light: the tile surface captures the nuances of hand-processing and transforms them into a living texture where every variation adds to the overall depth.
The inspiration stems from Moroccan zellige tiles, renowned for their vibrant hues, luminous glazes and subtle irregularities. Miniature Tela channels this expressive force into a contemporary collection structured around rich colour and small-size repetition.
Glazes, efflorescence and subtle variations
The pattern is traversed by soft chromatic glazes and a fine stippled effect. These markings introduce delicate variations from one tile to the next, echoing the spontaneous nature of hand-worked clay.
When installed, individual pieces create a cohesive whole animated by controlled tonal transitions and subtle shimmer. The surface takes on the quality of a canvas upon which colour settles in layers, revealing varying degrees of transparency, density and shade.
A deep glaze that
catches the light
The textured glossy finish complements the three-dimensional nature of the surface with a soft and gently undulating motion. Light refracts across the glassy surface, generating iridescent highlights that shift with the viewing angle.

Miniature Tela is produced in 12x12 and 6x24 sizes, each offering a distinct character. The 12x12 square forms clean, compact grids in which the repetition of grout lines becomes an intentional design feature. The 6x24 brick tile introduces a dynamic, linear flow that excels in horizontal, vertical, or offset installation layouts.
The subtly three-dimensional edges catch the light, making the articulation of each module clearly defined.
Matching sizes, independent laying
The square and brick tiles can easily coexist within the same room cladding different walls or establishing a dialogue between walls and furniture volumes. Due to differing calibre dimensions, they require independent laying patterns: the two sizes are not designed to be utilised within the same modular composition.
This distinction allows each geometry to play a dedicated architectural role, delivering matching surfaces with varied compositional rhythms.
Colour becomes architecture
The Miniature Tela palette alternates soft, easily paired neutral tones with deeper, more statement shades. Lighter nuances create bright, balanced schemes, while intense hues allow for bold accents and saturated colour fields.

In the 12x12 size, the pattern of grout lines structures the wall and floor surface as a decorative element. In the 6x24 brick, it underlines the direction of the cladding, amplifying its rhythm.
