Coverings Orlando 2025 is where the previews of the next ceramic tile trends unfold.

Having just concluded, the American show lived up to its promise of "what's trending next happens here first”, once again confirming its status as the preferred platform for the introduction of some of the most innovative products in the tile industry.

Among over 1,000 exhibitors, Marca Corona distinguished itself by uniting the world of design and the specific needs of architects, contractors, designers, and distributors with a journey centred around the allure of exotic appeal – understood as the spirit of discovery that brings original colours and visual inspirations going beyond the most conventional aesthetic proposals.

This inclination towards what originates from distant and unknown lands (as the very etymology of the word "exotic" suggests) is intrinsically linked to and supported by the deep-rooted experience and excellence of a tradition Made in Italy that Marca Corona has been upholding since 1741.

But let's take a closer look at the collections and new products from this Coverings show 2025, where we were a key player.

Coverings 2025 Trends: exotic design for Marca Corona's ceramic tiles Made in Italy

Once again, Coverings 2025 has set the trends for today and tomorrow, uniting a highly diverse audience of visitors, particularly in terms of their international origins.

Within the Ceramics of Italy pavilion, Marca Corona captivated the audience with an immersive and engaging display, perfectly aligned with their exotic appeal concept: an invitation to be amazed by what originates from distant lands and cultures, here expressed as a different yet universal beauty manifested by ceramic tiles Made in Italy that reinterpret the exotic in a contemporary way.

This exploration of the "unconventional" leads to the selection of colours and visual inspirations that transcend the more common aesthetic proposals, to create rooms of wonders where every detail projects towards accents and flavours as distant as they are compelling.

The materials thus remain comfortable, perfect for cladding welcoming spaces, but they become more distinctive in their details and colours.

Each collection thus transforms into a story and a vision, bringing together aesthetic research, technological innovation, and mindful awareness.

The collections presented at the Coverings 2025 show: when decorative tiles interpret space with originality and emotion

What most captured the curiosity of visitors at the Marca Corona booth during the Coverings 2025 show?

Our contemporary and Made in Italy interpretation of exotic appeal was particularly well-received, ushering in a new language that stems from the idea of travel and exploration to shape projects with a strong sensory impact, where decorative tiles interpret space with originality and emotion.

This approach gives rise to an exhibition space that captivated visitors with its seamless blend of research, material, and imagination, creating an immersive and multisensory journey.

Added to this is the ongoing interest in our ability to combine Italian know-how, quality, aesthetics, and state-of-the-art technical performance.

This way, the proposed collections translate into designer ceramic tiles with a well-defined identity and versatility, embracing tactile textures, sophisticated finishes, and colour palettes ranging from neutral tones to rich, full hues.

Arkigem. The balance between tradition and modernity

Among Marca Corona's new ceramic tiles at Coverings 2025, Arkigem is the collection that best expresses the balance between tradition and modernity.

Inspired by the inclusions of Ceppo di Sicilia, Arkigem develops a distinctive design where the breccia pebble-like pattern of the stone effect, distinguished by pebble sizes that are both heterogeneous and balanced, is the key to a material that transcends trends to present itself as a contemporary classic.

This results in a texture rich in visual and tactile details that conveys the powerful energy of the original inspiration with remarkable realism.

This collection lends itself to both indoor and outdoor applications, thanks to various finishes and the pairing of a lively multi-coloured look with tone-on-tone variations, making the overall effect even more adaptable and contemporary, while preserving the connection to a pure and understated beauty.

Miniature Rima. The refined size, the opulent colour

Another new addition at Coverings 2025, and a natural continuation of the Miniature project with the Linea 1741, Miniature Rima expands Marca Corona's refined investigation into the small 6x24 cm size through a proposal that aims for evocative games of harmonies and contrasts.

An alternation of geometries, colours, and refractions, to create exquisite designer compositions thanks to glossy and matt areas, surface counterpoints that rhythmically alternate, including in the range variegated chromatic notes, from the most intense to the most subdued tones.

As the name Rima (Rhyme) suggests, playfulness and experimentation are integral to this collection, designed primarily for creating dynamic wall compositions. Just as a repeated base sound near an identical one contributes to the melody of a verse in poetry, so too do the lines of these porcelain stoneware brick tiles work together to embellish and enrich spaces, enhancing the sense of depth already provided by their 3D shape.

This allows for the creation of rooms of wonders with references to every corner of the world: a succession of hues and reflections to tell stories of different lifestyles and tastes.

Calcecreta. The strength of the material, the lightness of the colour

Never predictable and always on trend, also at the Coverings 2025 show.

Calcecreta is the collection that revisits the effect of limewash paint and the texture of clay to create ceramic tiles Made in Italy with an authentic and heterogeneous character.

Lines inspired by the Japandi style, Wabi-Sabi influences, and neutral colours thus become tools for narrating a new concept of beauty, where each ceramic tile is a fragment of a personal, sophisticated, and multicultural tale.

Ideal for residential and contract projects seeking welcoming and velvety atmospheres, Calcecreta surprises with tones ranging from ivory to Mocha Mousse and terracotta, lending softness and natural warmth to spaces.

Longarine Calcecreta. Modularity and artistic creativity for decorative tiles

The slender 7.5x60cm sizes of Longarine Calcecreta tiles unlock endless possibilities for architectural and creative installation layouts.

Colours inspired by the earth, from which these nuances draw all the structure and allure of decorative tiles Made in Italy, versatile for both floor and wall applications.

Indeed, the collection stands out for its ability to adapt to diverse furnishing styles, from minimalist to industrial, offering coherent and distinctive aesthetic solutions.

Thus are born scenic and enveloping creations, ideal for residential and commercial environments, where durable and easy-to-clean surfaces enhance a refined and contemporary aesthetic, with texture as the design language to amplify the sensory experience of the spaces.

Design, quality, and Made in Italy: the direction of ceramic tiles at Coverings 2025

Coverings 2025 has once again proven to be much more than just a trade show: it's a meeting place, a forum for exchange, and a realm of discovery, where the world of ceramic tiles converges with architecture, interior design, outdoor living, and the contract sector.

Our participation confirmed the direction we've taken: to offer solutions capable of meeting complex design needs without sacrificing design, quality, and excellence Made in Italy.

The feedback we received from the American and international audience aligns with these values, which are now more than ever key elements in their selection of products, where an interest in the "wonderful" is coupled with a need for reliability and consistent hard-wearing resistance.

The Marca Corona collections impressed with:

  • their refined, versatile, and contemporary aesthetic
  • innovative technology and the durability of the materials
  • colour palettes that resonate with worldwide trends
  • 100% Made in Italy design and production, synonymous with quality and lasting beauty
