Terrasale: ceramic surfaces that blend artisanship, colour and exotic influences
Terrasale is the Marca Corona collection which, in a compact 20x20 size, tells the story of a meeting of materials, cultures and visual suggestions from all over the world.
Born from a mix of two stones - basalt and white pinholed limestone, for an original and contemporary aesthetic effect - Terrasale represents an exotic twist on the craft tradition of decorative ceramic surfaces. The result is a mosaic of matt colours, glossy glazes and graphical decorative motifs that adapts to lots of installation styles: from rigorous grids to free compositions through to contrasting effects with joints and backgrounds.
Terrasale enhances the walls and floors of both large and small residential and commercial spaces. A versatile, textural and eye-catching project that combines the visual refinement of handcraftsmanship with the quality and performance of Marca Corona porcelain stoneware.
