SQUAT iD23B
Terra Rombo vers F. 25x21,6 cm
Terra Antracite 25x21,6 cm
The innovative SQUAT project, promoted in 2016 by the famous Prague-based design influencer Insidecor, led to the restructuring of a whole building in the heart of Prague, along the luxurious Pařížská Street. 5 renowned Czech architecture firms were invited to re-invent the 5 floors of this bourgeois building, bringing new life to as many apartments, each with its own style and furnishings.
Among these, OOOOX was called on to design residence iD23B, on the second floor, and chose the Italian-made quality of Marca Corona ceramics to create a truly exclusive setting. The apartment’s appeal can be seen at first glance, with its luxurious, eccentric atmosphere made of bold cross-contaminations, light games, period furnishings and metal details.
The home has a large living area organised into functional spaces, with a dark island kitchen, a large, rustic concrete table in the centre and a TV area with comfy seating. In this friendly space, the Terra cementine tiles by Marca Corona are alternated with light and concrete-effect floors black tiles, creating a delightful colour shading impression and an original geometrical pattern.
Terra hexagon tiles were also chosen for the hall and the elegant walk-in wardrobe, this time with Antracite background. This home has two separate bedroom areas: the feminine bedroom is enhanced by pale colours and hints of gold, while the male guest room has dark parquet floors and total black furnishings.
Each bedroom has its own en-suite bathroom, with the same atmospheres. The Terra collection can be found once again in the bathrooms, in two versions, Antracite and Rombo, on the floors and the shower walls. Marca Corona ceramics are ideal for welcoming and amazing the guests to this exclusive, modern apartment.
