Hotel Heliantal Thalazur Saint Jean De Luz

Saint-Jean-de-Luz is a captivating destination set between the blue of the ocean and the warm hues of hillside landscapes; a place where softness and character come together to create breathtaking scenery. In the heart of the town, a former pirates' hideout and a true land of maritime traditions, the Thalazur Saint-Jean-de-Luz Thalassotherapy & Spa welcomes its visitors in a modern, avant-garde facility, recently renovated after more than 10 months of work under the direction of the prestigious Jean-Philippe Nuel architectural firm.

The aim of this ambitious renovation project was to transform the hotel without altering its soul. Bet won, to say the least! The Basque identity and Art Deco influences of the building are fully respected and enhanced in all the common areas and the 106 rooms of the hotel, thanks to the choice of emblematic elements, such as the symbolic colours of the area (red and blue) and the presence of objects and decorations coming from local craftsmanship.

The eclectic, designer furnishings are combined with surfaces and finishes of timeless elegance and exclusivity, and natural, eco-friendly materials. The Deluxe porcelain tile collection, a tribute to the most luxurious and eclectic marbles, and Motif Extra, a sublime reinterpretation of Calacatta marble, have been selected to give brightness and a touch of glamour to rooms.

Both collections were installed on walls and floors in the rooms, in the exclusive restaurant and inside the massage cabins of the Thalasso Spa, creating original textural carpets and real design corners: an impressive but incredibly effective solution, perfect for emphasising every stylistic choice and multiplying the perception of light and space, maintaining a glamorous and sumptuous allure while ensuring maximum resistance and practicality.
