Domaine de la Petite Forêt is an exclusive hotel complex set in lush parkland just a few kilometres from the beautiful Côte d'Opale, a stretch of coastline on the English Channel in northern France that was a source of inspiration for writers, including Victor Hugo, and various painters, such as Camille Corot.
A refined structure with attention to every detail, divided into three luxuriously designed and equipped hotels, designed to offer different types of stays:
- Tribe, perfect for a relaxing holiday surrounded by iconic art objects in absolute comfort;
- Mercure, which combines a clean and cosy design with an authentic Le Touquet experience;
- Ibis Style, a hotel with a trendy and irreverent soul characterised by its colourful and extremely playful design, ideal for a weekend with family or friends.
The architectural firm involved in this ambitious renovation project set itself the goal of bringing together the timeless charm of the atmospheres of northern France with modern and original solutions, capable of giving character and personality to the rooms without sacrificing functionality and technical performance.
To renovate the wellness area common to the three facilities and for the rooms of each hotel, Roque Intérieurs studio has chosen the prestige and quality of porcelain stoneware floor and wall tiles by Marca Corona. Let's see in detail which ones!
In the large spa with swimming pool and solarium, precious Overclay surfaces installed on the floor and wall in different sizes, perfect for warming up the environment and making it even more chic and exclusive, while at the same time guaranteeing resistance to humidity and maximum safety thanks to its anti-slip properties.
Continuing to explore the individual facilities, different Marca Corona ceramic collections have been used to decorate the various bathrooms in the rooms and suites: the refined Foyer marble effect slabs, proposed in the Joy variant, give a luminous and glamorous effect to the bathrooms of the Tribe hotel.
The eclectic and very colourful Victoria series of wall tiles focuses on the three-dimensional Art pattern to create a pleasant relief effect along the walls, while the material Phase surfaces and the original 4D cladding tiles decorate the walls and floors of the last hotel in the complex, the Ibis Style.
The porcelain stoneware surfaces by Marca Corona used in this ambitious project create a harmonious mix&match of styles, effects and sizes capable of satisfying aesthetics, functionality and technical performance, including resistance to stress, impact, foot traffic and sudden temperature changes, all of which are of the utmost importance in projects intended for the hospitality world.
