The Hotel D’Aubusson 5 * SPA is a 5-star Boutique Hotel in Saint-Germain-des-Prés, in the heart of Paris. This impressive hotel has over 50 rooms, a 400 sq.m. spa, a literary café, a jazz bar and a indoor patio. This exclusive hotel pays homage on one hand to the original building, a 17th century luxury private residence, and on the other to the 6th arrondissement where it stands, a point of reference for intellectuals from all over the world.
All the professionals involved in this ambitious historical restructuring project, aimed to conserve the charm of the historical building, selecting a range of stylistic excellences including the Versailles coffered parquet, solid stone fireplaces, precious Aubusson tapestries and sumptuous furnishings.
To embellish the luxury spa - a particularly challenging space in terms of design, technical performance and safety, the Bruno Borrione studio chose the Italian-made quality of Marca Corona ceramics. Two porcelain stoneware collections were chosen for the floor and wall coverings in this oasis of well-being, the Motif Extra marble effect stoneware and StoneOne stone-effect tiles, a guarantee of top aesthetic and technical performance.
The Motif Extra luxury floors, in Travertino and Calacatta versions, add an exclusively intimate feel to the whole spa, from the indoor pool to the private gym, from the changing rooms to the reception. Thanks to the superior non-slip performance of the porcelain stoneware, the Motif Extra travertine tiles were also laid on the pool bottom and edge, ensuring an optimal visual continuity between the different areas.
In the massage cabins, on the other hand, the Motif Extra Calacatta floor and wall tiles add incredible brightness and splendour in the sophisticated Chevron version as well as the elegant mosaic tiles in shiny reflex finish. No better solution could have been found for a 5* hotel of a similar design and historical value than these exclusive Marca Corona coverings, a byword for excellence and Italian style.
