Dolce by Wyndham Versailles - Domaine du Montcel

Located in the quiet countryside near Paris, the Dolce by Wyndham Versailles - Domaine du Montcel was created by renovating an old Renaissance country house, now transformed into a luxury hotel. The project combines the art of hospitality with the conservation of the historic heritage and strikes a fine balance between classical elegance and contemporary comfort.

The work of Flamant Interior Design under the artistic direction of Sébastien Flamant, the renovation restored a C18th building to its antique splendour, reinterpreting its interiors with natural materials, sophisticated colour schemes and a meticulous attention to details. The aim: to conserve the place’s original spirit while blending it with a modern, practical aesthetic language.

The Marca Corona surfaces support this rebirth with a coherent, refined aesthetic. Outdoors, the Stone One Ivory sets the style of the terraces and steps with a natural texture and outstanding durability. In the wellness suite, Arkistone Textured and Trama Spa help to create relaxing, comfortable interiors, while Phase Dark brings its forceful, contemporary character to the washrooms. In the restaurant, Elisir Beige provides warmth and a welcoming ambience, reinforcing the interiors’ overall harmony.

The result is a high-end project in which historic architecture and contemporary design are perfectly attuned, where Italian ceramics embody quality, elegance and timeless style.
