Clay Theatre

The Clay Theatre, the oldest in the town of Green Cove Springs, has undergone ambitious restoration work and been turned into an exclusive venue for ceremonies. For the interior and exterior design, MICAMY Design and Basham & Lucas Design took their inspiration from the Art Nouveau movement to create luxury, coordinated settings.

The clients’ request was both challenging and simple: to create a striking main entrance able to capture guests’ attention immediately. The choice appeared obvious: Newluxe by Marca Corona, the marble-effect collection with a timeless elegance. The New Luxe floor tiles, with the Reflex finish, are perfect for bringing maximum brightness to the Hall, while the Treccia White Tesserae create a pleasing geometric effect in the centre of the room.

This marble flooring required a prestigious frame to give it an exquisitely personal touch, and small rectangular elements were cut from the regular square Dark Italian porcelain tiles. The pale boiserie, the crystal lamps and marble tables add a glam finish. The same luxurious, luminous style can be admired throughout the building, from the bride’s dressing suite to the large events hall, without forgetting the internal garden.
