The StoneOne stone-effect tiles are the main feature of an ambitious, creative project, inspired by the power of light and underground art. The famous Clay Paky company, specialised in the supply of lighting systems for major international events, was looking to create a creative hub for all its product research and development activities. Studio Riboli architecture firm thus gave an extensive makeover to the garage area of the headquarters in Seriate, turning it into an operative facility with a distinctly industrial character.

The hallmark features of the setting are the striking graphics of the Marca Corona floors, and the seamless visual impact: visible pipes, windows, corridors – everything is open, on view and inclusive, allowing visitors to admire the creatives at work, without disturbing them. The StoneOne stoneware surfaces have been chosen for their striking appearance, reliability and low maintenance: they need to be easy to clean, because dust is harmful for electrical circuits and optical instruments, so it must be kept out of product development and testing laboratories.
