Porcelain stoneware tiles

A breathtaking view of the Gulf of Lerici, luxuriant hills of olive trees and enchanting buildings suspended in time: in this evocative and almost enchanted setting, the architecture practice Ini has worked on the renovation of a private residence located in La Serra, a delightful village in the Ligurian countryside.

The leitmotif of the project could only draw inspiration from the surrounding landscape, borrowing sensations and colours from nature and its elements.

When you cross the threshold of the flat, you are immediately enraptured by a feeling of peace and wellbeing: from the living room to the kitchen, from the bedroom to the bathroom, the neutral and bright colours and the simple but carefully chosen furnishings accompany guests in their discovery of intimate and cosy spaces, ideal for recharging the batteries after a day spent amidst nature or by the sea.

Maiolica glazed porcelain stoneware tiles by Marca Corona have been chosen to decorate the small but delightful bathroom: on the walls it was decided to opt for chalk-white encaustic tiles, capable of multiplying the perception of space and making the entire room brighter.

On the floor, on the other hand, the triangle decoration picks up on the sinuous movement and intense blue of the Ligurian sea, almost erasing the boundary between what is inside the flat and what awaits visitors outside.
