Terme di Saturnia Natural Destination

For the renovation of Terme di Saturnia, a international Hotel & Spa founded in 1919 and renowned worldwide for its springs, natural pools and surprising water effects, the THDP architecture firm sought to create as much continuity as possible between architecture and nature, past and present.

The inspiration came from the surroundings and the interior and exterior design features a palette of natural, revitalising colours, ranging from cool tones of sea blue through to olive green and bright beige. The hall, the restaurants, the library and the private suites are marked by graceful shapes, soft seats and fabrics and artisan furnishings crafted in wood and metal, all designed to spoil guests during their relaxing stay.

For exclusive yet inviting bedrooms, the choice fell to elegant parquet flooring and the bright marble effect porcelain tiles of Marca Corona: Motif Extra and Motif stoneware flooring and coverings bring a cosy, refined allure and timeless charm to the private bathrooms, turning them into the perfect places to regenerate the body and mind.

In addition to their impeccable appearance, the porcelain stoneware guarantees maximum hygiene and anti-slip safety, essential for wellness areas and environments where water is present all the time.
