Marca Corona presents its preview of Cersaie 2025: programme, events and news relating to the tiles show
The international exhibition of ceramic surfaces for architecture and design will be held in Bologna from 22 to 26 September 2025. Read on to discover the stunning tactile, exotic beauty of our innovations at this 42nd edition.
We’re coming to the time of year when there’s only one topic on everyone’s lips:
Cersaie, the International Exhibition of Ceramics for Architecture and Bathroom Furnishings, which is gearing up to welcome architects, designers, distributors and other industry professionals with a 5-day programme packed with events, news and trends destined to shape design and architecture trends in the near future.
A unique opportunity and an unmissable appointment, and naturally Marca Corona will be there amongst the exhibitors and Italian ceramics brands with its room of wonders on the theme of “Exotic Appeal”, as well as its new collections and technological solutionsfor residential and commercial locations.
Maintaining the evolution of tradition that has always characterised our company, the exhibition experience we’ve planned for Cersaie 2025 is centred on travel and discovery off the beaten track, reflecting the power of our new design ideas as an exploration of the marvels of distant impressions, fresh, original combinations and a subtle hint of extravagance.
And this is just the start. We’ll be revealing more below.
From room of wonders to travel diary, don’t miss “Exotic Appeal” by Marca Corona at Cersaie 2025
And just as a love of being amazed inspires us to explore even times and places far distant from our own, our room of wonders contains all the most exquisite things that have fascinated, enchanted and delighted us, not only with their individual identities but also in their unexpected combinations.
Italian designer porcelain stoneware meets exotic forms, materials and colours
In Marca Corona’s ceramic tiles, “Exotic Appeal” is expressed in 3 different complementary facets:
- variety of volumes and forms
- tactile material effects
- contrasting colours
These themes are nourished with inputs and suggestions from the world of design and art, starting from the combination of shades, finishes and textures that verge on the bizarre but work perfectly well together.
The sophistication of the ideas, their underlying inspirations, and the way they’ve been transformed into products embraces richness of material, layering, Mix & Match and trend-setting colours, which include:
- ivory and terracotta as the new neutral shades
- warm, earthy tones
- vibrant, gaudy hues
They're exemplified in the latest Miniature Rima and Arkigem collections, recent additions to the catalogue that will be amongst the surfaces selected for display at Cersaie Bologna 2025:
- Miniature Rima is the new entry in the Miniature line, a project based on the small-sized rectangular brick tile, offering it in surprising styles and applications.
Specifically, Miniature Rima provides chromatic poetry, the basis for original architectural wall covering designs, with both straight-line and curvy patterns.
- Arkigem draws inspiration from international breccia stones and Ceppo di Sicilia to create an elegant, contemporary reinterpretation of the Venetian Terrazzo effect with pebbles and inclusions, achieving an impressive balance between graphic realism and fresh, unusual colour schemes.
This adds an exotic personality to the stone look, making it versatile, welcoming and timeless all at once.
