History

Marca Corona was founded in 1741: the oldest porcelain tile manufacturer in Sassuolo, it quickly became the most important ceramic tile supplies company of the Este Duchy. In the mid-nineteenth century it began exporting its products and in 1889 it launched the production of dry pressed tiles.

In 1982 this Italian tile manufacturer joined the Concorde Group, positioning itself in the highest market level with mosaics, wall and floor tiles which are currently distributed world-wide.

For over a century, the history of Marca Corona has followed the development of the ceramic industry and of the Italian porcelain tile manufacturers, using increasingly advanced techniques and aesthetic inspirations, with the aim of launching new trends in ceramic design.
