In the heart of Tivoli, a town on the outskirts of Rome, the Glam ice-cream parlour is waiting for you to enjoy an ice-cream or a good coffee... and to delight your eyes with its truly extraordinary setting!
When it comes to attracting customers, it is well known that the eye needs its share, too: this is why the architectural firm in charge of the renovation of the premises chose to play with elegant and exclusive colour contrasts and vintage-style decorations, inspired by the historic ice cream parlours and coffee bars that used to animate the city.
The porcelain tile collections by Marca Corona have been used in this case to customise all the rooms in the restaurant, including the bathrooms: at the entrance and in the counter area, the Ocean decorations of the Terra.Art encaustic tiles welcome you, recalling the intense glossy blue of the Regoli bricks, used to embellish the counter and the wall adjacent to the washbasins, and the sophisticated wall panelling in the same shade, starkly contrasting with the antique pink walls and ceilings.
The bathrooms of the ice-cream parlour opted instead for a total look of Storie d'Italia, installed both on the walls and on the floor: the graphic and expressive richness of this collection transports customers of the premises into an atmosphere with a Mediterranean flavour, playing with decorations reminiscent of the glazed tiles found in the homes and coffee bars of our childhood.
A real dive into the past... but always looking to the future and searching for the best technical performance in terms of resistance and practicality, which only porcelain tiles can offer.
