Worldwide Hospitality Awards is the most important international competition for the hôtellerie sector. The event is organised each year by Hospitality ON to allow hotel chains, investment groups and independent hotels all over the world to present their best achievements in the field of architecture, communication, sustainability and social responsibility.
Now at its 19th edition, Hospitality Awards has received over 1500 applications and its jury panel of international professionals has given over 200 awards to the most prestigious projects. This year, the awards ceremony will be held on Wednesday, November 7th, at the InterContinental Paris Le Grand Hotel, in Paris.
Marca Corona is proud to announce that it will be taking part in Hospitality Awards 2018 as official sponsor of the event and as partner of one of the finalist projects, Le Club Med Panorama les Arcs 1600, an exclusive five-star hotel at the centre of the Paradiski ski area, in Savoie, surrounded by green forests and with a breathtaking view of the ski slopes below.
Nominated in the “Best innovative concept” category, the latest jewel of the renowned Club Med chain offers a totally new approach to the integration of architecture into the environment: the professionals of Atelier Cap Architecture and Design Studio Architects, guided by the architects Christian Plateau and Didier Rey, have, in fact, developed a building with a sinuous shape, which fits perfectly into the alpine surroundings and offers guests a view that is truly extraordinary, to say the least.
The huge complex that will be opened in December 2018 represents the new paradigm of professional hospitality, thanks to the many services reserved to guests and to modern and welcoming environments. In particular, the search for an intimate and welcoming atmosphere is mirrored in the choice of materials, colours and patterns, drawing inspiration from nature and in particular from alpine spaces.
It is therefore not surprising that Design Studio has chosen the Prestige series by Marca Corona to make the interiors of the Club Med Panorama Les Arcs more precious. It is a wood-effect collection that gives a touch of warmth and intimacy to the most exclusive contexts and also guarantees the best in terms of safety and resistance, as is necessary for top range hotel spaces.
Many will be holding their breath at the Awards Ceremony since the quality of the finalist projects is very high and the guests involved particularly important.. here at Marca Corona we will be keeping our fingers crossed!
