Maison&Objet 2020 - (Re)GENERATION!
2020 opens with an appointment not to be missed! Maison&Objet, the most important trade fair Made in Paris for interior design professionals and design and lifestyle enthusiasts will be back on 17-21 January.
Marca Corona couldn't miss the event and therefore will be present in the Ceramics of Italy area (Booth M112/O111 - Hall 6) to promote the style and quality of its ceramics 100% Made in Italy.
Thanks to a partnership with the agency Nelly Rodi, more than 3,000 international exhibitors and numerous guests and organised events, Maison&Objet will once again offer a crucial opportunity to explore the latest trends in interior decoration, styles and consumption.
For the event's 25th anniversary the theme will be "(RE)GENERATION!", a decisive look at the future and a careful analysis of the attitudes, lifestyles and expectations of digital natives. Generations Y and Z, increasingly attentive to the topics of sustainability and uniqueness, are changing the rules and revolutionising their consumption habits to counteract the current crisis of value and identity.
New interior design and lifestyle trends
Sustainable design
As in previous editions, Maison & Objet 2020 will continue to focus on the new priorities of international designers and end consumers who are increasingly attentive to ethical and green issues.
The desire to reduce one's social and environmental impact translates into more informed purchasing decisions, support for fair trade and a preference for new natural and sustainable materials and cutting-edge technologies. A trend that involves every aspect of our lives, including the design and furnishing of everyday spaces.
Marca Corona has always been sensitive to environmental issues and the social value of doing business and responds to these ethical demands through the production of quality eco-friendly ceramics and a commitment to constantly reduce the environmental impact of its production processes, as demonstrated by its recent ISO14001 certification.
Passion for craftsmanship
Design enthusiasts look to the past and simpler times: second-hand objects, retro furnishings and vintage icons are finding their way back into our homes.
It's no coincidence that Maison&Objet 2020 will witness the return of the Mediterranean style of the past, simple in its furnishings but superabundant in decorations, with floors and walls featuring whimsical, colourful decorations.
It is precisely this trend that has inspired Storie d'Italia, the new collection of cement and majolica tiles by Marca Corona, which draws on the folklore and craftsmanship of Italy to add a dynamic touch to contemporary interior design.
Fashion...and wellness
Fashion and discomfort have long been associated, but the demands of consumers today speak clearly: the new generations want to be trendy but without sacrificing comfort and well-being.
Sofas and beds are transformed into soft, welcoming nests, curtains are rich and sumptuous, while for floors and walls embracing pastel colours are preferred as they are able to immediately give rooms a more welcoming aspect.
Marca Corona meets this need for comfort with the Neoclassical style of Victoria, the new series of white body coverings inspired by the wood panelling of Victorian London. The walls light up with style and character thanks to two innovative 3D patterns and seven irresistible colours, ranging from pastel shades to saturated and strong accents.
Practicality first!
The most requested surfaces for new interior design projects? Durable, versatile, practical to install and above all to clean!
To meet this need, Marca Corona has expanded its range of large ceramic slabs to include pop-luxe Foyer wall tiles, a collection that reinterprets the modern elegance and brightness of marble in new, large sizes, including 120x278, perfect for walls thanks to its reduced thickness (6mm) and height that reaches all the way to the ceiling. An eclectic, avant-garde and aesthetically pleasing solution!
Sustainability, practicality and comfort glam are just some of the suggestions and influences that will be presented at Maison&Objet, an unmissable opportunity to get a preview of the future of design and home fashion.
On 17-21 January Marca Corona looks forward to seeing you in Paris
