What is porcelain stoneware?

Porcelain stoneware, available in various surface finishes, is a mix of powders and non-metallic grains of different sizes and colours (raw materials), similar to that used for the manufacturing of sanitary-ware and crockery.  It is a "vitreous" material, completely inabsorbent with excellent technical features, guaranteeing wear resistance of the surface over time.

The complex firing process at high temperatures, transforms the precious raw materials into porcelain stoneware tiles that are resistant to frost, chemical attack, have a high mechanical resistance, are hygienic and are characteristics thanks to their refined appeal.
