The Ecoliving collection is the result of a perfect synthesis between aesthetics and eco-sustainability. Inspired by natural stones, this collection of eco friendly tiles for floors and walls which, thanks to compliance with the LEED system, contributes towards obtaining important credits for the certification of 'green' buildings. The Ecoliving porcelain stoneware is manufactured using 40% recycled material.
LEED standards (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) are eco-sustainable building parameters developed by the Green Building Council in the US and applied in 50 countries in the world. It is a voluntary certification system based on the allocation of points for every eco-sustainable requisite of a building. By adding up the points awarded, a total points rating is obtained. Construction using Ecoliving means being awarded LEED points which can prove of vital importance in eco-sustainable architectural projects.
The LEED tiles are manufactured using recycled material deriving from products of a different industry, therefore it contributes to the achievement of LEED ratings for the buildings in which in which these ceramic products are used, with reference to four requisites:

SUSTAINABLE SITES
The objective is the reduction of the 'heat island' effect (the thermal gradient difference between urban areas and their confining rural areas) to minimise the impact on the micro-climate.
Ecoliving is available in 3 different sizes (45x45cm - 18'x18', 30x60cm - 12'x24' and 60x60cm - 24'x24') and 2 surface finishes: Natural and Reflex. It recalls the look of natural stones and in its reflex version, that is to say honed, it has a mirror-like effect. The Reflex surface finish, created using cutting-edge materials, has a honed surface which is easy to clean and resistant. Ecoliving Reflex combines hi-tech performance with a cutting-edge appeal.
Designers have at their disposal a complete range of eco-friendly porcelain ceramic to carry out their projects in total respect of the environment. All the colours, sizes and surface finishes meet LEED requirements. Ecoliving, eco-friendly porcelain stoneware, can be used both as indoor and outdoor floor covering.
