Marca Corona was founded in 1741. It is Sassuolo’s oldest ceramic factory and it quickly became the most important company of the Este Duchy.
In the mid-nineteenth century it began exporting its products and in 1889 it launched the production of dry pressed tiles. In 1982 it joined the Concorde Group, positioning itself in the highest market level with mosaics, wall and floor tiles which are currently distributed world-wide.
For over a century, the history of Marca Corona has followed the development of the ceramic industry, using increasingly advanced techniques and aesthetic inspirations, with the aim of launching new trends in ceramic design.
